China - Day 1

I had rice and noodles for breakfast today - that's what they eat in China. I loved it. When we left the hotel, we saw a wedding. We heard the pop, pop, pop of the firecrackers they light off to give the bride and groom good luck. Then the bride and groom got out of the limo and they shot off fireworks full of confetti to shower over the bride and groom.

I am writing this at 6:30 am on June 27 in China. That means it is 5:30 PM on June 26 in the US.

After seeing the bride and groom, we went to the Temple of Heaven. It's very old - built in 1420. I like that it's big and has beautiful paintings of dragons and phoenixes. These are pictures of me at the Temple. We tried not to get any other people in the picture, but they kept getting in the picture.

Love,
TT
